Biography

In the position of Senior Managing Director and General Counsel for DJM Realty, Ed oversees all real estate activities.  With over 30 years of experience as a real estate lawyer and professional, Ed brings a wealth of knowledge and leadership to the organization.  Ed has spearheaded several marquee disposition projects since joining DJM in 2001. Key clients that Ed has handled disposition and lease restructuring matters for are CVS, Good Guys, Hasbro and Kmart.

Prior to DJM, Ed served for over 15 years as Vice President-Real Estate and General Counsel of Levitz Furniture Corporation.  Ed was responsible for the management of over 10 million square feet of retail and warehouse space. He also represented Levitz in several bulk sale and leasehold assignment transactions raising over $150 million in proceeds. In addition, Ed served as General Counsel at Levitz during its successful Chapter 11 reorganization.
