With nearly 20 years of real estate experience within the shopping center industry, Neill provides leadership and guidance for all of DJM Realty’s experienced real estate professionals, supporting the company’s overall platform of facilitating clients’ growth by maximizing their real estate portfolios. Prior to this role at DJM Realty, Neill was Principal and co-founder of RK Realty Advisors, a boutique real estate advisory firm specializing in investment sales and acquisitions, asset valuations, retail development and leasing, special situations and consulting projects. While at RK, Neill successfully completed several credit-tenant and shopping center investment sales transactions in excess of $60 million.
Prior to founding RK Realty, Neill spent 6 years as VP of Acquisitions for Colin Development, a private, family-owned real estate company. In his role at Colin Development, Neill was responsible for the sourcing, underwriting and closing of all retail investments; project leasing; property management and asset sales.
Neill previously spent 4 years as Managing Director of DJM Realty and was in charge of developing DJM’s non-bankruptcy disposition business. His primary areas of focus were surplus property dispositions, pre-bankruptcy services, lease mitigations, and restructuring programs. During Neill’s tenure with DJM, he successfully sold, sublet or terminated several million square feet of surplus retail real estate. Neill’s clients included Pep Boys, Yum! Brands, Frank’s Nursery, Hechinger, Van’s, Advance Auto, Office Depot, This End Up, Tower Records and Roberd’s Furniture.
Prior to his tenure at DJM, Neill was an Associate with both Staubach Retail Services and Atlantic Retail Properties. At both companies, Neill specialized in site selection and asset disposition throughout the Northeast for a host of national chains including Pep Boys, Barnes & Noble, Applebee’s & Stop & Shop Supermarkets.
Mr. Kelly has his Bachelor's degree in Economics from the College of the Holy Cross and an MBA from NYU’s Stern School of Business.
